‘Courage’ Original

‘Courage’ is the first self portrait I’ve ever truly done. Almost a decade ago I had the idea of a mermaid riding a tiger/cat and commissioned a graphic artist to create the image for a Tshirt design. I didn’t love how it turned out and stuffed the idea into the back of my brain for many many years… This summer, I remembered what I once envisioned and decided to paint it myself. Alas, ‘Courage’ was born.
