‘Sweet Release’

‘Sweet Release’ began a sketch that I used to help me sort out the proportions for the much larger, 4’x4’ painting that would become the album cover of my last record ‘The Prize’. I decided to finish the sketch, and exchange the dragonflies for butterflies, lending a slightly different take than the original. This 12”x12” piece was done with oil paint on canvas!
